Plan Studio: drawing your stage, rigging and power plans
Scaled drawings with a symbol library, snapping, layers, dimensions and live load and power math.
Open Drawings and start with a ground plan: your stage is drawn from the dimensions in your specs, with the centerline (CL) and plaster line (PL) as the origin, the way riggers and LDs dimension. Add more sheets as you need them: rigging plot, power plan, lighting plot, audio and video, load-in route, or a custom drawing.
- Symbols: drag from the library: rigging points, hoists, truss and pipes, distros and company switches, lighting fixtures, speakers and consoles, LED walls, projectors, risers, doors, docks and more, all in one style. Upload your own as SVG or PNG.
- Drawing: rectangles, lines, truss and pipe runs, dimensions, text, cable connections and zones (fire lanes, push routes); trace over an uploaded image or PDF page.
- Precision: snapping to a grid in feet or meters and to other objects, smart guides, align and distribute, layers, and undo with full history. Every object has a right-click menu (long-press on touch screens), and the common tools have keyboard shortcuts.
- Calculations: loads on each rigging point and the total, checked against your rated capacities, and a power schedule from your distros and connections. Anything over capacity is flagged.
Each drawing has a title block and an automatic legend. Publish puts it on your venue page and in your tech pack PDF; you can also export it as SVG or PNG.
