How we keep files safe

Virus scanning, private storage and controlled downloads.

Uploaded files are stored outside the website under random names and are only delivered after a permission check. Every file is scanned with ClamAV before it can be opened; anything flagged is blocked and our team is alerted. Previews are generated on our servers, so opening a preview never runs anything from the original file. Connections are encrypted (TLS), passwords are stored with Argon2, and sign-in is protected against guessing.
